DDT Kits

DDT is a directed differential testing system for C/C++ compilers. The latest version runs on UNIX, with some preliminary support for Windows 95/NT. For further information about DDT, please consult the DDT Release Notes. If you have not yet read and agreed to the DDT License Agreement, please do so before downloading any of the kits.

If you would like to be notified when the next version is released, or if you would like to keep track of DDT in general, please join the ddt-announce mailing list. To join, just send an e-mail message with the line "subscribe ddt-announce" in the body (not subject) of the message, to majordomo@sdtad.zko.dec.com. You'll find further information about all of the DDT mailing lists in the DDT Release Notes.

Each of the kits below is offered as a single .tar.gz archive. A .tar.gz archive is unpacked using the UNIX commands gunzip(1) and tar(1). For example, to unpack "ddt-1.0x1.tar.gz", you might use a command like this one:

gunzip -c ddt-1.0x1.tar.gz | tar xf -

Note that both DDT and DDT-Tcl require Tcl/Tk. Although you can certainly download and examine DDT and/or DDT-Tcl before installing Tcl/Tk, neither DDT nor DDT-Tcl will be operational until you have Tcl/Tk up and running.
