DDT License Agreement

LICENSE TO USE: Digital Equipment Corporation (Digital) hereby grants you a royalty free, non-exclusive license to use, copy, and modify this software, provided that: (a) existing copyright notices are retained in all copies; and (b) source code for any modifications that you make to the software are made available to Digital when and if requested by Digital.

LICENSE TO DISTRIBUTE: Digital also grants you a license to distribute this software for any non-commercial purpose, provided that: (a) existing copyright notices are retained in all copies; (b) all distributions include this License Agreement verbatim; (c) you license this (possibly modified) software at no charge to all third parties under the terms of this license; and (d) if you distribute a modified version of this software, you cause the modified software to carry prominent notices stating that the software has been modified, who modified it, and the date and purpose of each modification. In addition, no part of this software may be incorporated into any program or other product that is sold, or for which revenue is received, without first obtaining a separate commercial license from Digital.

NO WARRANTY: DIGITAL AND ANY OTHER DISTRIBUTOR OF THIS SOFTWARE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS; DIGITAL AND SUCH OTHER DISTRIBUTOR HAVE NO OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE, SUPPORT, UPDATES, ENHANCEMENTS, OR MODIFICATIONS.

NO LIABILITY: IN NO EVENT SHALL DIGITAL OR ANY OTHER DISTRIBUTOR OF THIS SOFTWARE BE LIABLE TO ANY PARTY FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE OR ANY MODIFICATIONS THEREOF, EVEN IF DIGITAL OR SUCH OTHER DISTRIBUTOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

TERM OF LICENSE: The license granted hereunder will remain in effect until terminated. It will automatically terminate without notice if you breach any term of the license. In addition, you may terminate the license at any time by destroying this software.

RESTRICTED RIGHTS: Use, duplication, or disclosure by the U.S. Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of DFARS 252.227-7013, or in FAR 52.227-19, or in FAR 52.227-14 Alt. III, as applicable.
